Cardiothoracic ICU .WORK SCHEDULEFull time, day shift.POSITION
HIGHLIGHTSFunction as a liaison between patients, physicians and
other healthcare providersProvides leadership and coordination for
the Cardiothoracic ICUGuides and directs the activities of the
Staff Nurses, Assistant Managers, Patient Care Technicians and
support staff in the designated unit.DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTIONThe
Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit is a 24 bed unit. Patient
population includes cardiac and thoracic surgery patients,
vascular, heart and lung transplants, MCS, VV, ECLS, and
TAVR.PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIESProvides Human Resources support
hiring staff, development of performance standardsDemonstrates
excellent customer service that ensures patients and family members
are attended to in a professional manner.Supports hospital mission
and objectivesMonitors high standards/care practice by teamREQUIRED
QUALIFICATIONSMasters degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration
or related field, or enrolled in a Masters program. At least two
years formal supervisory leadership experience in ICU services
preferably cardiothoracic, cardiac ICU. An equivalent combination
of education and experience may substitute for stated
