has an outstanding opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our
Transitional Care Unit.The Harborview Medical Center - Transitional
Care Unit (TCU) was created as a more efficient way in which to
care for our medically stable patients awaiting placement. Our unit
was designed to offload an acute care bed and assist our patient
population in overcoming their discharge barriers. The staffing
model in this unit reflects the needs of long-term patients and
utilizes different ratios than our standard acute care
units.PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Utilize bedside experience and
administer medications, conduct assessments, provide wound care, as
well as other RN responsibilities.Partner with the HMC Hospital
Assistant (CNA) to provide safe and effective care.WORK SCHEDULE:36
hours per weekVariable or Night shiftREQUIRED POSITION
QUALIFICATIONS:One year of recent inpatient nursing
experienceCurrent license to practice as a registered nurse in the
