As a Permanent Assurance Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. You will work closely with our finance and accounting teams to provide assurance and accounting services to our clients. This is a permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement.Responsibilities:

• Perform financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations in accordance with GAAP and other accounting standards.
• Prepare and review tax returns, including corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns, using ProSystems Tax and CCH software.
• Provide assurance and consulting services to clients, including internal control evaluations, risk assessments, and financial analysis.
• Assist with the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members, including reviewing their work and providing feedback.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations and ensure compliance with new requirements.
• Participate in firm-wide initiatives and projects as needed.Ideal Candidate Qualifications
  • Achieved CPA designation
  • 4+ years of recent experience in public accounting and financial reporting in particular
  • Strong academic background, responsible & ethical Technical Abilities ---Evaluate internal controls and revise programs if necessary; work with Partner on work program & budget ---Utilize an appropriate degree of audit skepticism ---Appropriately consider and weigh all evidence, both supportive and contradictory, when resolving client accounting issues ---Document, validate, test and assess various financial reporting control systems
