Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for a
middle school setting in Renton, WA, for the remainder of the
school year. This contract role focuses on supporting students
communication needs with a caseload combining both onsite middle
school students and homebound learners. Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy to middle school students
during the school week (Tuesday to Friday). Deliver specialized
support on Mondays to homebound students (4 total, spanning
elementary and secondary levels). Utilize augmentative and
alternative communication (AAC) devices and eye gaze technology to
enhance student communication. Collaborate with educational staff
to develop and implement individualized therapy plans. Participate
in a transitional overlap period with the current SLP to ensure
seamless service delivery (starting week of February 9 or 23).
Qualifications: Current Speech-Language Pathologist license valid
in Washington State. Education Service Assistant (ESA)
certification through OSPI. Experience working with school-age
children in a speech-language capacity. Familiarity with AAC
devices and assistive communication technologies. Strong
organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload.
Schedule & Location: Full-time, 1.0 FTE position. Hours scheduled
7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday (with a later Monday
start at 8:30 a.m.). Onsite work required exclusively at a middle
school in Renton, WA. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to
