Adjunct Faculty, Dance Instructor Job Number: 00232 Qualifications, Salary and Appointment Minimum Qualifications: BFA in Dance. Preferred Qualifications: MFA or MA in Dance. Experience teaching modern dance to college age students. Ability to teach physical fitness / conditioning courses (for example yoga and/or Pilates). Teaching experience in a post-secondary institution. Ability to generate innovative ideas that provide solutions to all types of workplace challenges and brings ideas to supervisor. Ability to earn the trust, respect, and confidence of coworkers and public through consistent honesty, forthrightness and professionalism in all interactions. Demonstrated cultural competence and a commitment to equity and inclusion. Expectations: This position requires regular and punctual attendance. Part-Time Hourly, Support Assistant-Transitional Learning Job Number: 00229 Job Responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to: Support Basic Food Employment & Testing (BFET) and WorkFirst students; Assist with clerical tasks as needed: front office reception; phones, maintain filing system. and data entry; Provide customer service; Manage High School Completion email; Create preliminary High School Completion transcript evaluation; Provide administrative support to High School Completion program; Coordinate Early Alert program Transitional Learning; Process student registration, check schedules, and answer general questions; Proctor placement testing; Track High School Completion intake forms and maintain High School Completion database; Support faculty, staff and administration in developing accessible and ADA compliant course/program materials; Other duties as assigned. Qualifications, Salary and AppointmentQualifications (preferred but not required): Associates Degree or comparable experience/education. Excellent customer service skills; Adhere to strict confidentiality requirements; Ability to work both independently and in a team setting; Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; Working knowledge of computers and technology; Multi-lingual; Experience working with employment/career services and/or academic advising. Salary and Hours: This is a part-time, hourly, non-permanent position with a salary of $15.00 per hour. Regular work week will be Mon-Thur 9am-2pm with possible evenings during testing and registration. Start Date: July 1st, 2019, or as soon as can be arranged for the successful candidate. College Access Corps Coordinator Job Number: 00081 Job Responsibilities Recruit, select, and train college students as college access coaches. Recruit volunteers for National Days of Service and other community service events. Provide age appropriate college access interventions to participating youth. Compile and update college access program sustainability manual (one for each campus program). Collect and document program assessment data in required tracking tools and progress reports. Participate in College Access Corps trainings, including orientation, mid-year training, graduation, regional cohort meetings and others as schedule. Engage in personal reflection. Collaborate with other CAC teammates and national service members in your community on common projects. Record and track hours in monthly timesheets. Qualifications, Salary and Appointment Required Qualifications: Be a citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident alien of the United States. Be 18 or older. Have an AA/BA or some college. Agree to a National Service Criminal History Check and not have a sexual offense or murder conviction (other offenses may also prohibit participation, but will be determined on a case by case basis). Commit to serving 1700 hours (no more than 20% of aggregate time can be spent on training/professional development and no more than 10% on fundraising). Ability to work well with people of diverse backgrounds. Strong organization, problem-solving and written and oral communication skills. Basic office computer skills, including word processing. Program management (marketing, event planning, training, volunteer management) experience. Strong initiative, self-starter, and enthusiasm for helping others succeed--- Committed to promoting educational equity and inclusion. Benefits: Living allowance of $12,630 (distributed over 10.5 months). Loan forbearance and interest accrual reimbursement on qualifying loans. Basic health care plan (if needed). Education Award of $5,920 upon successful completion of the program. Childcare assistance for qualifying members.
