Job Description:

Solidworks Designer -Andgar Food Processing Equipment, LLC has a new opening for an experienced Designer based out of our headquarters in Ferndale, WA. This division designs and manufactures food processing equipment for the agricultural sector using conveyor belt systems and automation, with some robotics. Work is primarily on food-grade stainless steel and some aluminum (minimal). Creative thinkers and those with the ability to come up with new designs would excel in this position. -Pay, Incentives, and Benefits:

  • Salary Range $52,000 - $85,000/yr, DOE
  • Position is eligible for discretionary bonus

  • Employee discount program -Specific duties include:
    Liaise with design and technical supervisor and customers to gather product and structural requirements and designsCalculate dimensions, weight limitations and requirements in materialsDescribe production methods step-by-step (including equipment and software types to be used)Create detailed designs with Solidworks design softwareDesign diagrams, maps and layouts to illustrate workflowPrepare and review rough sketches and review them along with the manufacturing teamIdentify potential operational issues and redesign products to improve functionalityEnsure final designs comply with regulations and quality standardsQualifications:
