Technician Job Description The Refrigeration Technician is tasked
with the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and
refrigeration systems within the plant. The role involves
diagnosing and fixing issues with refrigeration units, performing
routine maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety standards
and regulations. Additionally, the technician will assist with
various facilities and maintenance duties as assigned by their
supervisor. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints,
drawings, and other technical documents. Conduct regular checks and
resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system issues. Maintain
accurate records of maintenance and repair work. Utilize power
tools, hand tools, and specialized equipment for installation,
assembly, and disassembly. Communicate effectively with internal
and external teams to resolve issues promptly. Install
refrigeration or air conditioning components such as motors,
controls, gauges, and valves. Measure, cut, and connect piping
using welding and brazing equipment as needed. Install,
troubleshoot, and overhaul HVAC systems. Start up systems, test for
leaks, check regulators, and perform routine maintenance. Repair
and replace parts for refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation,
or heat pump systems. Assist with other facilities and maintenance
work and projects within the plant. Address equipment issues,
escalate as necessary, and provide recommendations. Follow Food
Safety, HACCP, Quality, and Operational procedures. Ensure
adherence to Quality Management System and set an example for Food
Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices. Perform other assigned
tasks as needed. Essential Skills 3 years of experience in HVAC,
refrigeration, or an equivalent role. Previous experience in food
manufacturing or a related field. Intermediate proficiency with
Microsoft Office suite (MS Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook). Strong time
management and organizational skills. Effective communication
skills for engaging with internal and external teams. Ability to
work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues
promptly. High attention to detail and ability to maintain a high
level of quality. Adaptability, resourcefulness, and willingness to
learn. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous millwright,
electrical, or general maintenance experience is an asset. Why Work

Environment The core working hours are Monday to Friday, with
potential for overtime on weekends and holidays as needed.
Availability outside core hours may occasionally be required for
emergency issues. Work involves heights, lifting 50 lbs, and
operating power equipment. Expect to work in varying temperatures,
including coolers, freezers, and different plant areas. The role
involves approximately 95% on-the-floor activity and 5% in-office
work. Exposure to common food allergens such as soy, dairy, and
wheat is possible. The position requires physical tasks and
adaptability to various environmental conditions. Job Type &
Location This is a Permanent position based out of Stanwood, WA.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $72800.00 -
