offer opportunities for a Gas Turbine Engine Inspector to join our
Quality team in Everett, Washington. The Gas Turbine Engine
Inspector is a vital member of the quality assurance team,
responsible for ensuring the integrity and performance of gas
turbine engines through thorough and precise inspections. This role
demands a keen eye for detail, technical expertise, and the ability
to work independently in challenging environments. Inspectors must
be adaptable, often working in confined spaces requiring the
ability to fit through openings as small as 9.5” x 17.7”, at
heights up to 115 feet on elevated platforms, and under varying
conditions, both domestically and internationally. Physical agility
and safety awareness are essential, as the position involves
navigating tight spaces and elevated work areas while maintaining
strict adherence to regulatory and quality standards. You will play

excellence in aviation. Position Responsibilities: - Obtain
appropriate drawings, specifications, or digital media using
computing systems to retrieve necessary information for
inspections. - Operate precision measuring instruments to perform
various inspections, including area measurements and engine wear
monitoring. - Utilize flexible fiber optic and video imaging
equipment, such as borescopes, to inspect internal engine
components and aircraft systems for anomalies. - Maintain
inspection equipment and coordinate repairs as required to ensure
optimal functionality. - Coordinate inspections with fire and
rescue teams for flightline permits as necessary. - Use shop math
to calculate dimensions for inspecting production parts and
assemblies. - Assist with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
conformity inspections as requested. - Indicate Quality Assurance
(QA) acceptance on appropriate paperwork or online systems,
processing documentation as required. - Identify and document
non-conformance items, recording results and processing paperwork
per Quality Assurance procedures. - Route parts and assemblies with
the appropriate paperwork to Material Review Segregation Areas
(MRSA) and other designated areas. - Process non-conforming parts
and assemblies according to Material Review Board dispositions,
consistent with Quality Operating Instructions (QOI). - Interface
with other organizations, such as suppliers and engineering, to
provide clarification and additional information as needed. -
Maintain personal and tool certifications to ensure compliance with
industry standards. - Handle, use, and dispose of hazardous
materials in an approved manner, following safety regulations. -
Assist other employees by providing information and answering
questions regarding functions, methods, and procedures. - Perform
Gas Turbine Engine Inspections using Aircraft Maintenance Manuals
(AMM) and provide inspection reports and documentation to customers
upon request. - Document conforming and non-conforming conditions
using digital pictures and video, processing and archiving media as
required. - Initiate and document any nonconforming materials or
assemblies according to specifications and procedures. - Conduct
audits and surveillance of manufacturing and quality assurance
processes to ensure compliance with specifications. - Plan and
arrange the sequence of work operations, working from engineering
drawings and specifications. - Retrieve Foreign Object Damage (FOD)
and lost tools using remote visual inspection equipment. - Verify
part numbers and serial numbers, ensuring correct installation of
parts using remote visual inspection equipment. Physical Demands
and Potential Hazards: - Perform physical tasks that include
lifting weights ranging from 10-15 lbs. to 15-35 lbs. - Engage in
various movements such as reaching, handling, turning, twisting,
lifting, lowering, climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling,
crouching, and squatting. - Work in environments that may involve
contact with metals, solvents, and coolants. - Operate in proximity
to moving parts and tools, sharp cutters, and potential slipping
hazards. - Adapt to varying noise levels and atmospheric
conditions. - Utilize personal safety gear to protect face/eyes,
hands/arms, and feet while performing job duties. This position is
expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required
to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position
must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US
Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person”

Qualifications: - 3 years of experience performing quality
inspections on machined parts and mechanical assemblies. -
Experience determining if defects/discrepancies exist by obtaining
information from multiple sources, (e.g., drawings,
specifications). - Ability to complete Fall Protection Training. -
Ability to work in confined spaces and fit through a 9.5” x
17.7”oval opening. - Hold a current valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications: - 5 years of experience in aerospace. - 2
years of quality experience. - Ability to travel 10-20% of the
