Material Review Board Designee (Level 4) Company: The Boeing
Company The 777/X Everett Quality Operations team has an exciting
opportunity for a Material Review Board Designee (MRBD) Level 4 in
Everett, WA, on 2nd shift . Join our team and help drive quality,
compliance, and continuous improvement. A Material Review Board
Designee Level 4 provides technical leadership in the review,
analysis, and disposition of product nonconformances; leads root
cause analysis and corrective action activities; validates
compliance with quality and engineering requirements; and drives
process and product improvements to ensure quality, compliance, and
effective problem resolution. Position Responsibilities: Provides
guidance for reviews and validates product non-conformances and
disposition type, quality procedures and engineering requirements.
Oversees the analysis and evaluation of the quality of products,
operations and processes. Guides the review of production plans.
Applies advanced knowledge of aerospace design, systems and
integration to perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace
components and systems. Guides or provides assistance in the root
cause analysis of nonconformance. Verifies the accuracy of analysis
results by consulting with other authorities in the technical
field. Establishes process and product improvements by implementing
technical initiatives. Oversees the process of problem resolution
to ensure effectiveness of the Quality Management System. Provides
oversight of the corrective/preventive action plans to assure
timely completion. Reviews and oversees approval of Quality
planning changes or disposition of nonconformance hardware
products/processes. Provides direction for validation of corrective
action to assure causes of nonconformance has been eliminated.
Monitors the groups' performance of the verification activity.
Creates formal analytical reports and coordinates with the
responsible parties for internal/external distribution. Works under
minimal direction and is responsible for training and mentoring
lower level technicians. Basic Qualifications (Required
Skills/Experience): 5 years of experience in aerospace,
fabrication, or a manufacturing environment 5 years of experience
conducting quality investigations, root cause analysis, and
implementation/verification of corrective actions in production
environments 5 years of experience working with Non-Conformance
(NCR) processes and Quality Management Systems (QMS) 5 years of
experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings,
specifications, and technical requirements 5 years of experience
gathering data from multiple sources, performing analysis, and
presenting results 5 years of experience with, or knowledge of, at
least one airplane system Preferred Qualifications (Desired
Skills/Experience): Associate degree or higher Experience using
Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Experience supporting root cause corrective action and problem
resolution in a production environment Experience working
cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and quality
