We're looking for a Project Manager to join our Water Resources
Practice supporting site and municipal projects around the Puget
Sound Region. Our Water Resources Practice is an incredibly diverse
team with projects that vary in size, client, and service. That
includes small on-call projects with local cities, to huge
multi-million-dollar multi-disciplinary projects, and everything in
Our ideal candidate is able to envision the steps needed to
accomplish and delegate design and planning tasks. They think
creatively and outside the box. We're hoping to find a supportive
leader who prefers team success over individual glory.
To thrive in this position, you already have the following
- a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in management of design or construction
for civil/site engineering projects or water resource projects.
- Strong communication skills for coordination with clients and
- Enthusiasm for civil engineering, learning and creative
It'd be great, but not required to also have the following
- Experience collaborating with architects, landscape architects
or other design disciplines.
- Active participation in industry organizations such as APWA,
WTS, SWE, ACEC, ASCE, etc.
About the Position
In this role, you'll work with a highly collaborative team of
engineers and civil technicians to:
- Drive project execution activities to meet revenue and
- Supervise, coordinate, and support the work of others on
projects to ensure proper and timely execution.
- Collaborate with OCI staff
- Interface with clients and external team members.
- Support project proposals/pursuits and client development.
- Mentor, and training junior staff in career and growth
opportunities at OCI.
- Show up for your colleagues and positively contribute to the
team's culture, learning, and growth.
This position can be based out of any OCI office (Bellevue,
Seattle, Bellingham, Spokane). The majority of the team works out
of the Bellevue office.
