Manage commercial glazing projects. This includes developing accurate and timely cost estimates and work schedules for commercial glazing systems. Lead and supervise up to 5 employees. Project scopes up to $5 Million.

• Analyze drawings, specifications, site conditions and other documentation to perform take-offs and review quantities in order to compute accurate project cost, which will be utilized to formulate estimates using best practices, labor factoring and strategic material purchases that will be complied then used in preparing accurate and competitive bid estimates and proposals.
• Receive bid invitations; verify the number of competitors; review bid documents and generate RFI's to expose details that may reduce the number of potential bidders; and or provide a competitive advantage.
• Monitor job progress, preparing cost to complete estimates, and man-hour to complete estimates on a monthly basis.
• Conduct contract review after the bid is awarded to ensure scope of work and price is accurately reflected in contract.
  • Enforce company policy and procedures in regard to professional standards, safety, and ethics. Requirements
    • MUST HAVE 3+YEARS IN GLASS
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Ability to read blueprints
    • Ability to use estimating software
