This role presents an exciting opportunity to lead a team of professionals in a fast-paced environment where innovation, efficiency, and quality are paramount. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to significantly contribute to our ongoing growth and success by effectively managing all aspects of our manufacturing plant's operations.Responsibilities:As the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for the following:1. Overseeing all daily operations of the plant from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed.2. Developing processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality, and productivity.3. Implementing strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and providing a clear sense of direction and focus.4. Monitoring operations and trigger corrective actions in a timely manner.5. Committing to plant safety procedures and ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.6. Developing systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics, and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets.7. Increasing production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards.8. Addressing employees' issues or grievances and administering collective bargaining agreements.9. Building, developing, and managing a capable, motivated team capable of achieving the plant's objectives.Qualifications:The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:1. A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a plant management role in the manufacturing industry, preferably in the food manufacturing sector.2. Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of managing, motivating, and developing a team.3. Strong knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, and human resources).4. Familiarity with industry-standard equipment and technical expertise.5. Knowledge of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory, and stewardship processes.6. Strong team building, decision-making, and people management skills.7. Ability to create accountability and lead by example.8. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.9.
