TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Renton, Washington, 98055! Pay Information $3,920 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 16 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 3 years License: Required Certifications: NRP, BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Experience circulating in the OR. Triage experience preferred. Description: The facility has a Labor and Delivery unit with 11 beds and 4 triage beds. There are 2 operating rooms and 25 postpartum beds available. The average number of births per month is 220. The aim is to follow AWHONN guidelines for nurse-to-patient ratios. RNs are required to titrate drips, with common drugs including Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, and Insulin. Charge Nurse and House Supervisor roles are both available on the unit. Staffing includes 2 surgical techs and 2 LPNs during the day and 1 LPN at night. There is 24/7 presence of OB and Neonatologists, along with 24-hour anesthesia support. There is no RT equipment such as vents, CPAP, or BiPAP on the unit. The EFM system used is Obix. Shifts are 12 hours, with the schedule running from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Weekend shifts are required, and there are no on-call or standby requirements for travel RNs. Floating to postpartum may be required as needed. The dress code is navy blue scrubs, with jackets and scrubs provided by the facility for Labor and Delivery nurses.
