Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Home Health - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/11/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Home Health assignment requiring recent home health or hospice nursing experience and a WA or compact RN license. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in a home health and hospice care setting - Variable shifts with 8-hour day and evening hours; occasional night shifts may be required - May be on-call for night shift phone calls or home visits - Expected to float to different units as needed - Responsibilities include initial patient assessments, care planning, providing skilled nursing care, and discharge planning - Involvement in developing and managing Home Health Aide care plans - Coordination and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care - Responsible for accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulations - Support and assist with implementation of family bereavement services - Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (booster not required) - Not accepting local candidates within a 60-mile radius - Return staff must have a minimum one-year separation from previous employment at the health system - Up to 3 days of requested time off may be considered for auto offers; up to 7 days for standard offers, to be approved prior to signing - Occasional holiday and rare night coverage may be required /n /n Requirements/n - Active WA or compact RN license, or proof of application for WA state license - Minimum 1 year of home health or hospice/end of life nursing experience required - Current BLS certification required - Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance required - Minimum 1 year of recent Epic EMR experience required - Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required; BSN preferred - Demonstrated ability to apply age-specific principles of growth and development in patient care - Basic computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office applications /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-619529.
