The position is for In-Person only. Candidates must be able to hit the ground running and prior school-based experience as an Occupational Therapist (OT) is Required . Job Type: Contract (W2) Occupational Therapist (OT) Job Duties: o/tTraining/experience in a variety of diagnostic instruments for assessing fine motor, visual motor, visual-perceptual, sensory motor and self-care skill levels. o/tAdditional training/experience in pediatrics, neurodevelopmental therapy, sensory integration, CPR/First Aid. o/tWorking knowledge of State rules and regulations for disabled students. o/tAbility to work and communicate effectively with staff, students and parents from diverse cultural backgrounds in a variety of educational interdisciplinary team settings. o/tAbility to apply purposeful, goal directed, developmentally sequenced activities to enhance the student’s potential for facilitating improvement of a student’s physical, emotional, sensory and/or perceptual deficit through use of specially designed instruction and/or related services delivery models. o/tExperience writing Individual Education Programs (IEP). o/tAbility to write measurable annual goals and objectives.
