This is a day-shift–only role at a small, well-supported hospital offering a manageable census, no night coverage, and a collaborative MD APP care model. This assignment is ideal for an APP seeking long-term stability, predictable scheduling, and excellent work–life balance in a scenic Pacific Northwest community. Opportunity Snapshot Location: Anacortes, WA Specialty: Hospitalist Medicine – APP Contract Type: Locum Tenens (1099) Start Date: March 1, 2026 Assignment Length: Long-term (6 months) Schedule: Day shifts only Monday–Friday | 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM EMR: Meditech Facility & Program Overview Hospital Beds: 43 ICU Beds: 6 ICU Model: Closed ICU (intensivist coverage available) Open ICU: No Admissions Per Day: ~10 Total Daily Census per Provider: Night Coverage: Not required Call: None Staffing Model: Collaborative MD APP team This program offers excellent physician support , low-acuity inpatient care , and a well-organized workflow designed for sustainability and provider satisfaction.
