difference. As a Senior Medical Assistant with the Swedish
Colorectal Surgical Clinic, you will play a central part in
delivering seamless, compassionate, and well?coordinated patient
care. This position offers the opportunity to work independently,
take ownership of essential clinic operations, and be a trusted
partner to both patients and providers. In this dynamic role, you
will coordinate a wide range of patient care services, including: -
Scheduling new patient visits, follow?up appointments, treatments,
and diagnostic testing - Completing insurance verifications,
referrals, and authorizations - Preparing, updating, and
maintaining accurate medical records - Reconciling billing concerns
and supporting smooth financial workflows - Managing multiple phone
lines, triaging calls, and ensuring timely communication Success in
this position requires exceptional communication, strong
problem?solving abilities, and a steady, compassionate presence.

are essential as you support individuals and families navigating
complex care. As a key member of our physician practice team, you
will serve as a professional liaison—building meaningful

them. Required Qualifications: - Coursework/Training: Graduate of
certified medical assistant program - Upon hire: Washington Medical
Assistant Certification - Upon hire: National Provider BLS -
American Heart Association - 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
in a healthcare setting required (i.e. physician’s office,
scheduler, etc.) Preferred Qualifications: - Associate's Degree or
- Equivalent from a two-year college or technical school with
emphasis in Health Care - Experienced in obtaining insurance
verifications, referrals and authorizations - Experience with Epic
