Description $10,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external hires that meet the required qualifications and conditions for payment We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our high?volume outpatient breast imaging team. This role is essential in supporting the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease across fixed and/or mobile imaging environments. The ideal candidate is dedicated to producing high?quality radiographic images while ensuring every patient feels cared for, supported, and at ease throughout their visit. Key Responsibilities: - Perform a wide variety of radiological technical procedures specific to breast imaging in a fast?paced outpatient setting (fixed or mobile). - Produce high?quality radiographic images while maintaining a patient?centered, comforting, and professional approach. - Perform required quality control activities in accordance with the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and FDA regulations, either as the designated Quality Control technologist or under their direction. - Depending on location, utilize general radiography skills to perform diagnostic radiology exams, conduct bone densitometry (DEXA), or assist with breast?related special procedures in collaboration with physician staff. Required Qualifications: - Formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) - Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire - National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire - National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire - National Registered Technologist - Mammography within 1 year of hire Preferred Qualifications: - 2 years of full-time mammography experience Why Join Providence Swedish?
