Opportunity Snapshot Location: Bremerton & Port Orchard, Washington Contract Type: Emergency Medicine Locum Tenens Start Date: June 30, 2026 Duration: Long-Term (6 Months) Schedule: ~12 shifts per month Shift Options: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM EMR: Epic Cross-credentialing required across both locations Facility Overview Community hospital and freestanding ED model serving the Puget Sound region ~33,000 annual visits ~2 patients per hour 8 ED beds (efficient, streamlined department) ~300 hospital beds Trauma: Non-designated (lower acuity profile) Practice Environment MD APP care team model Physician supervision of APPs Efficient patient flow with manageable volume No scribe dependency This is a well-balanced ED environment —steady volume without the overwhelm of high-acuity trauma centers.
