*Description/Job Summary**Job Overview:*The Barista I provides exceptional customer service while making hand-crafted, quality beverages. The Barista will take orders and make coffee, tea and other drinks to customer specifications. The individual will also operate cash registers and credit card machines. The Barista fields customer complaints or questions while working to maintain good customer relations and speedy delivery of all beverages. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Sodexo may identify other responsibilities of the position. This is a full time year round position. From the beginning of Fall Quarter through the end of Spring Quarter (June 14) the position has a 32-34 hour work week. During Summer Quarter it drops to 28-30 hours.The position has a favorable schedule of Monday - Friday 7:30 - 2:30 with the occasional requirement to work an evening or weekend day if there is a catered event scheduled. Your work schedule follows the school's schedule so when the school is closed you are typically off work including breaks between quarters and holidays.We are a small and hardworking staff who provides exceptional customer service every minute of every day and provide a comfortable and welcoming environment for our both our new and regular customers.
