Hollander Hospitality is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative support and project assistance to the Human Resources Department in areas of HRIS, recruiting, benefit administration, safety and Workers' Compensation, and general administration to assure the highest quality of human resources for the Company in compliance with local, state, and federal law.ABOUT US

  • Full-time
    SCHEDULE:

    • Monday - Friday; 8:30am-5:00pm
      RATE OF PAY:

      • $24.00 to $27.00 per hour/DOE

            QUALIFICATIONS:Knowledge of:

            • General knowledge and understanding of Human Resources practices and procedures.
            • Federal and state employment laws and practices.
            • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
              Skills and Ability to:

              • Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships, developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
              • Self-motivated and results oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, managing time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently and within established time frame.
              • Maintain the confidentiality of highly sensitive material with tact, sensitivity, and professionalism.
              • Interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization, outside agencies, and with the general public.
              • Demonstrate the highest level of ethical behavior.
              • Communicate effectively in the English language in writing using correct spelling, grammar, and rules of composition and verbally by speaking clearly and concisely.
              • Maintain high standards despite various deadlines and pressures.
              • Effectively use standard office equipment such as computers and related software, printers, photocopier, and fax machine.
                Education and Experience

                • High school diploma or equivalent required.
                • Associates Degree in Business Administration or similar field preferred.
                • Two years' experience working in office environment providing administrative support, experience in Human Resources preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
                • Experience utilizing ADP Workforce Now preferred.
                  PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
                  Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
                  This work required the ability to sit for long periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry general office supplies and equipment. Position requires hand manipulative skills for word processing and writing. Must be able to hear verbal conversations over the phone and in person with background noise.
