Claims Administrator/Customer Service Associate, - Bellingham, WAThe Claims Administrator/Customer Service Associate will be the first point of contact for our member and health providers. Under the general direction and daily supervision of the Claims Department Manager, the Claims Administrator/Customer Service Associate will handle communications via phone, fax, web, or other methods. The associate will primarily adjust member claims according to client benefit plan designs and handle inbound/outbound calls via our call center, entering and processing communication in our claims system database. The associate will be able to consistently and effectively communicate with members and health providers in regards to their benefit plan questions.--The ideal candidate will have a commitment to accuracy, the ability to be a team player and the willingness and capability to perform as a leader. The position offers opturnity for growth within various roles of the claims department.QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTSHigh School diploma or GED equivalentBachelor's DegreeBi-lingual Spanish is highly preferredExperience in healthcare is preferred Excellent interpersonal skills; must have a positive and upbeat attitude. Must have excellent computer skills and be able to navigate windows and database systems efficiently. Must be a hard worker, self-starter and problem solver Demonstrated excellence in organization and time management skills; be able to perform multiple tasks. Exceptional phone and customer service skills. Must be able to function efficiently and multi-task in a team environment.
