Job Description:

Our Human Resources department is growing and we are looking for an HR Assistant with excellent customer service skills and a focus on teamwork to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:

Coordinate the recruitment process, including posting job ads, scheduling and conducting interviews, and processing pre-employment checks Coordinate the onboarding of new hires, including conducting new employee orientations, working with management to all steps are completed in the process, and working with new employees to ensure their onboarding was effective and efficient Coordinate employee events Attend meetings and take meeting minutes Maintain reporting and metrics for the department Administer the safety program to ensure we remain in compliance at all times Administer the training program, including conducting training for employees and working with management and trainers to ensure training is scheduled and completed on time Respond to all employee questions promptly and with great customer service Answer questions regarding company policies, benefits, and procedures to employees and members of management Examine personnel files to answer inquiries and providing information for personnel actions Regularly review personnel files to ensure they are complete and accurate Assist the HR Manager with scheduling meetings, booking travel and various other projects

Job Requirements:

Two years of human resources and/or administrative assistant experience Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Technologically inclined with a desire to learn new systems and programs Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong interpersonal skills Organized Detail oriented Ability to meet deadlines Team oriented Ability to work in a fast paced environment
