With sales and service locations throughout the world, and over 100 years of battery experience, EnerSys is the power/full solution for stored DC power products.We continue to grow in our industry by ensuring all employees possess the following core competencies: customer focused, team player, engaged, ethical, strong communication skills, and works safely.Job PurposeWith limited supervision, this position will be responsible for professional customer support of Alphasoftware platforms as well as the creation and maintenance of related knowledge base articles and customer-facing training materials. This is a temporary position.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop an extensive working knowledge of the software platforms to be supported, both through self-study and in coordination with development staffProvide end-user application support via in-application chat, trouble ticketing systems, e-mail and phoneTroubleshoot issues reported by end-users and provide solutionsFacilitate problem-solving between end-users and Alpha development staffParticipate with Alpha development staff in testing of and familiarization with new product releasesCreate and publish easy to understand knowledge base articlesDesign, create and publish training materials (text, graphics, video) for end-user useCoordinate, produce and publish user-facing web-based training and seminarsProvide both ad hoc and scripted live training based upon available materials as directedQualificationsBasic Qualifications2 year degree or equivalanet military training2 to 4 years of experience in software support/developement of documentation and training materialsSuperb verbal and written language skillsAdvanced knowledge of mainstream browsers (e.g.: Chrome, Edge, Safari) and the use of web-based applicationsExperience diagnosing problems with software productsAnalytical and troubleshooting skillsAbility to effectively organize and maintain written training and knowledge base materialsAbility to effectively communicate technical information in non-technical termsAbility to communicate professionally by phone and in writingFamiliarity with relational database concepts and toolsGeneral Job RequirementsThis position will work in an office setting, expect minimal physical demands. EnerSys provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.  EEO/M/F/Vets/DisabledEEO is the LawEEO is the Law SupplementPay Transparency Nondiscrimination
