Job Summary : Express Employment Professionals in Bellingham is urgently recruiting a Dispatch Assistant for a transportation company in Blaine. This is a long-term opportunity that starts right away!

Job Duties & Responsibilities include:

• Data Entry
• Contact customers to update if issues arise during after-hours with product information
• Respond to customer complaints and resolve issues with a high level of customer service
• Process Customs Border paperwork
• Schedule drivers to pick up and deliver loads as well as update with changes in routes
• Coordinate and manage product and deliveries
• Dispatch drivers for shipment pick-ups and deliveries
• Update shipment tracking system and maintain timely data integrity
• Prioritize time-sensitive cargo/shipments
• Plan drivers accordingly to ensure freight needs are met and oversee expectations for accountability
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office experience
• Effective time-management skills
