facilities, utilize advanced manufacturing technology to produce
solar modules with superior performance and reliability
specifically designed for the North American market. At Silfab

technology for the next generation of solar products. Under the
direction of the Maintenance and Reliability Manager, the
Maintenance and Reliability Supervisor will plan, organize,
schedule, assign and review maintenance work; perform a variety of
responsible duties related to the supervision of maintenance
activities; as well as train, supervise and evaluate the work of
employees.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Implement new equipment
technologies for manufacturing and quality improvements including
equipment upgrades, process technologies., and manufacturing
techniques - Supervise and plan the installation, testing,
operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and processes
within the facility - Coordinate product and process design and
changes - Conger with management, production, and engineering staff
to discuss project specifications and procedures - Analyze
technology, resources, needs, and Production and Quality demands,
to plan and assess the feasibility of projects - Perform
administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports,
enforcing rules, and assist in decisions about the purchase of
materials or services - Present and explain proposals, reports, and
findings internally and externally - Participate in purchasing
maintenance materials and outside technical services in accordance
with established company protocol and procedures - Assist in
establishment and implementation of systematic preventative
maintenance program with the Maintenance and Reliability Supervisor
- Investigate equipment failures and unexpected breakdowns. Provide
corrective actions to improve reliability and performance -
Supervise PM and PdM (preventative and predictive maintenance)
plans with the use of CMMS packages - Monitor parts requests to
ensure adequate inventory and cost efficiencies are being met
according to departmental budget - Lead CI (continuous improvement)
tasks reporting back to management with status updates - Ensure
equipment and processes are always running optimally - Provide
technical support to our Production team and perform other tasks as
needed - Facilitate selection of appropriate resources
(contractors, suppliers, etc.) to minimize costs and assure on time
and on budget completion - Ensure, enforce, and adhere to all
legislative and regulatory requirements - Constantly enhance the
motivation and team-spirit of all operation staff - Minimize the
risk of accidents and pollution Education and Experience:Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent
work experience - 2-3 years' experience in supervisory position -
Strong knowledge of engineering concepts including electrical,
mechanical, and robotic systems - Able to read wiring diagrams,
electrical/mechanical/pneumatic/hydraulic schematics, and
ladder/function block logic - Working knowledge of industrial PCs
and PLCs (Siemens Step &, Beckhoff Twin Cat) and electric
circuitry consisting of contactors, relays, main voltage/control
voltage, limit switches and proximity sensors - Proficient in
Microsoft Office Suite - Ability to work cross-functionally with
effective interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to work
independently and as a part of a team - Ability to complete
projects on schedule and within budget - Detail orientated
individual capable of time and project management - Excellent
troubleshooting and problem-solving skills - Preferred - Experience
in working with ABB robots - Experience in highly automated
environments
