  We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Transportation Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Engineering industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, bridges, transportation engineering, and Autocad. This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership in the design, construction, and maintenance of transportation infrastructure projects.
  
  Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop transportation infrastructure projects, including bridges, highways, and transit systems
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project feasibility and identify potential issues
  • Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and project schedules
  • Collaborate with project teams, including architects, contractors, and government agencies
  • Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in transportation engineering or a related field
    • Prior employment with State DOT's, Transit Agencies, or Municipal Agencies
    • Strong technical skills in Autocad and other design software
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
