Data Quality AnalystSeattle, WA / RemoteThe Select Group is
seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Data Quality
Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the
accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across various
platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical
skills, a collaborative mindset, and hands-on experience with
industry-leading data tools such as Alteryx, Informatica IDMC,
Snowflake, and Databricks.Key Responsibilities
- Data Validation: Analyze and validate data to ensure
completeness, accuracy, and consistency across systems.
- Quality Assurance: Develop, document, and implement data
quality standards and best practices.
- Issue Resolution: Identify data quality issues and work with
cross-functional teams to resolve them, ensuring compliance with
internal policies and external regulations.
- Collaboration: Partner with IT, data governance, and business
teams to design and implement scalable data strategies.
- Reporting: Prepare and present clear and actionable data
reports and dashboards for stakeholders and management.Skills and
QualificationsTechnical Skills & Tool Proficiency
- Alteryx: Build repeatable workflows for data preparation,
blending, and analysis using Alteryx Designer. Experience with
Alteryx Server for workflow deployment and Alteryx Connect for
metadata management.
- Informatica IDMC: Develop and manage data integration mappings.
Leverage Pushdown Optimization (PDO) for ELT processes. Handle
hierarchical schema configurations and JSON parsing. Integrate
cloud data sources like AWS S3 and Snowflake.
- Snowflake: Understand Snowflake architecture including virtual
warehouses and secure data sharing. Write and optimize complex SQL
queries for data analysis and transformation. Load and manage
external data sources securely using role-based access
control.
- Databricks: Utilize Delta Lake and Apache Spark for large-scale
data processing. Use Databricks notebooks for data engineering and
machine learning tasks. Integrate with cloud platforms like Azure
and AWS.
- ETL/ELT Expertise: Design and manage robust ETL pipelines for
data migration, cleansing, and transformation. Implement ELT
strategies with tools like Snowflake and Databricks to ensure
efficient data processing.Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science,
Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, quality assurance, or
data engineering.
- Strong understanding of data governance and regulatory
compliance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.TSG is an
