Location: Marysville, WA SUMMARY Drives truck to transport materials to and from specified destinations, by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Drives truck to the customer destination. Maintains electronic truck log, according to state and federal regulations. Maintains telephone or radio contact when permitted with supervisor to receive delivery instructions. Loads and unloads truck. Performs required inspections on truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water. Performs routine repairs such as installing light bulbs, tire chains, spark plugs, etc. Performs required load securement procedures on all product to secure safe transit. Performs miscellaneous yard handling and inventory functions as directed. Operates fork trucks to load and unload trucks and handle inventory. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Driver s License, CDL License, and valid medical card as well as meeting all current DOT requirements.
