Job Description:Role Summary/Purpose:TheVP, B2B Enablement
Analyticsrole will be responsible for supporting SYF B2B Analytics
internal data capability and data infrastructure improvement
program development and execution. This role will act as a critical
member and as an Analytics product manager for the broader B2B
Analytics teams, representing B2B Analytics, leading and owning the
IT build and launch processes to enable the ingestion of new and
enhanced B2B data attributes in SYF data warehouses in a more
structured and connected relationship.This role will also partner
cross functionally to ideate and pilot commercialization use cases
based on the newly create data & capabilities for the business to
protect our market share, capture growth opportunities and improve
bottom lines. The success of this role will require the cultivation
of strong working relationships with SYF B2B platforms and working
with various cross functional COE teams across the business
including: Sales, Marketing, Tech and Ops, GTM, Chief Data Office,
Credit, Finance, Product, Regulatory, Governance and Compliance,

Responsibilities:
- Support Synchrony B2B Analytics data and data infrastructure
capability roadmap and program development and execution
- Partner with internal client groups, platform analytics teams,
and cross-functional stakeholders, size and prioritize internal
data capability and data infrastructure needs, create proposals and
business cases to advocate modernization of B2B analytics
environment and capabilities
- Lead B2B merchant data and data table build projects, ingest
new and enhanced B2B data attributes into Synchrony data
warehouses
- Serve as product manager for the broader B2B Analytics team,
work closely with various IT functional partners to enable the
ingestion of new/enhanced B2B data attributes in production,
perform user acceptance testing, communicate data product launches,
educate SYF B2B Analytics communities about the new/enhanced
capabilities
- Pilot, refine, and own merchant/client hierarchical
relationship methodology, build new data attributes and data tools
as needed, maintain relationship mapping code logic and
process
- Work together with broader B2B analytics communities to
commercialize new and additional B2B data & capability use cases,
partner with B2B Analytics teammates to create new B2B Analytics
tools
- Support and perform other ad hoc initiatives as
neededQualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, economics, finance, business,
or other quantitative fields OR, in lieu of degree, a high school
diploma/GED and 11+ years of work experience in data analytics
programs.
- A minimum of 7+ years of analytics experience to include:
- 5+ years of experience supporting sales and/or marketing
- 5+ years of project management
- 5+ years of experience utilizing database/analytics tools (SQL,
SAS, Python), advanced spreadsheet and presentation tool.Desired
Characteristics:
- Master's/MBA degree preferred in computer programming,
mathematics, economics, finance, engineering, or other quantitative
fields.
- Ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional
teams to be a trusted business partner
- Experience with digital analytics tools (Adobe, Google
Analytics) a plus
- Ability to influence business partners and senior management
through the building and delivering of insights and compelling
recommendations
- Ability to synthesize/analyze diverse information, develop and
recommend strategies, and articulate clearly to business partners
and senior leadership teams
- Strong skills in project management, communications,
multi-tasking, with ability to work independently under tight
timelines
- Domain knowledge and experiences in financial service industry
data infrastructure and/or data management initiatives
- Relevant experience working with complex legacy data
environment and ecosystems, expert user experience with connecting
and building relationships among databasesGrade/Level: 12The salary
range for this position is 135,000.00 - 230,000.00 USD Annual and
is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company
performance.Actual compensation offered within the posted salary
range will be based upon work experience, skill level or
knowledge.Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro
and Seattle.Eligibility Requirements:
- You must be 18 years or older
- You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background
investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding
process
- You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of
the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
- New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service
with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles.
Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the
associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before
they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or
greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they
can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance
expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the
approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in
position or performance expectations).Legal authorization to work
